AA and Other Support Groups
Alcoholics Anonymous
AA is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees; A.A. is self-supporting through contributions. A.A. is non-denominational and is not affiliated with any group or organization. The primary purpose of A.A. is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety through the 12-Step Recovery Program.
