Story Telling and Story Listening February 14

We are happy to announce that on February 14th, we will hold a virtual training titled Story Telling and Story-Listening: The Impact of Learning from a Person's Biography. Presenting this event will be Sarah Buffie MSW, LSW, founding director of Soul Bird Consulting. She specializes in trauma-responsive care, and by building empathy and comprehension of the effects of trauma, she helps individuals and organizations challenge conventional ways of thinking.

Drug Take Back Day October 29

Crisis Intervention Training November 28-December 1

CIT - Crisis Intervention Team training is specifically for law enforcement officers, EMTs, Dispatchers, and firefighters. Classes and programs offered at no cost to participants. For Marion and Crawford Counties - the next CIT training is set for November 28-December 1 from 8:00am-4:00pm at Tri-Rivers Career Center. Participants receive approximately 40 hours of training in areas including psychiatric disorders, substance abuse issues, de-escalation techniques, and in legal issues related

Hope for Tomorrow Walk August 27

Walkers!! Mark August 27 on your calendars for the Hope For Tomorrow Walk for drug prevention. The walk will begin and end at Epworth United Methodist Church, located at 249 E. Mental Health First Aid July 26

Free Narcan Training May 5

In response to the opioid epidemic, ADAMH will be hosting a free Narcan training on Thursday May 12th. Narcan, also known as naloxone, is a medication used to reverse an opioid overdose, and you don't have to be a medical professional to obtain or administer it.
