Hope Walk August 26
Registration is open for the annual Hope for Tomorrow Walk. This event is organized annually by the Marion Crawford Prevention Programs, Crawford-Marion ADAMH Board, and Drug Free Marion. The goal of the walk is to increase awareness about opiate epidemic and to raise funds for local prevention efforts.
Amplified Expressions August 12
The Crawford County Prevention Coalition will be hosting their first Amplified Expressions of our Journey event at the Galion Community Theatre on August 12th. Join them as they AMPLIFY the voices of recovery in our county through artistic expression. This memorable evening is free to attend and will bring together local people in recovery sharing their stories with local artists to create unique artworks reflecting their journey.

Remembering Our Loved Ones May 19
We extend a heartfelt invitation to everyone in the community to attend this special event in memory of their loved ones lost. This event will include live music, speakers, and a touching candle lighting ceremony.
State of Behavioral Health March 7
Brad DeCamp and Paula Brown of the Crawford-Marion Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board will be presenting on, “The State of Behavior Health in Our Community.” Data trends, provider/agency updates, and strategic priorities in mental and substance recovery will be shared. This event is a partnership effort between Marion Technical College, The Ohio State University at Marion, and ADAMH. Students, employees and community friends are all welcome
Narcan Training March 1
In response to the opioid epidemic, ADAMH will be hosting a free Narcan training on Wednesday, March 1st. Narcan, also known as naloxone, is a medication used to reverse an opioid overdose, and you don't have to be a medical professional to obtain or administer it.
Story Telling and Story Listening February 14
We are happy to announce that on February 14th, we will hold a virtual training titled Story Telling and Story-Listening: The Impact of Learning from a Person's Biography. Presenting this event will be Sarah Buffie MSW, LSW, founding director of Soul Bird Consulting. She specializes in trauma-responsive care, and by building empathy and comprehension of the effects of trauma, she helps individuals and organizations challenge conventional ways of thinking.
Drug Take Back Day October 29
By getting rid of unused, expired, and unwanted prescription medications, you help contribute to the safety and wellbeing of our community. Crisis Intervention Training November 28-December 1
CIT - Crisis Intervention Team training is specifically for law enforcement officers, EMTs, Dispatchers, and firefighters. Classes and programs offered at no cost to participants. For Marion and Crawford Counties - the next CIT training is set for November 28-December 1 from 8:00am-4:00pm at Tri-Rivers Career Center. Participants receive approximately 40 hours of training in areas including psychiatric disorders, substance abuse issues, de-escalation techniques, and in legal issues related
