“The mission of the Crawford-Marion ADAMH Board, under local leadership, is to assure the availability of high quality alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services to all residents through planning (assessing needs and resources, and determining priorities); purchasing cost effective services to the extent resources are available; increasing public awareness; coordinating services; and evaluating those services.”

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) collects information on thousands of state-licensed providers who specialize in treating substance use disorders, addiction, and mental illness.

Suicide Prevention for Men

The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation is launching a new two-year initiative to reduce suicide among adult men, who make up over 80% of suicide deaths in Ohio. Marion County is one of the high-priority counties benefiting from expanded resources, training, and community support.
